A brief tutorial for my beginner students on one of the many ways to shoot from the hand.

In order to shoot accurately from a cantering horse, you need to be able to float. Here's a fun, cheap and easy wa to set up to practice floating. The goal is to not move up and down with the pallet.

Many expensive gadgets out there for this. I just use a couple of simple pieces of elastic! It's important to have some give in the reins so they are not locked onto the saddle. MA3 now requires the reins to break away in case of a fall.
